Artwork4Charity

Art4Charity is not a charity. It's an extension of Evanga Studios that is committed to finding ways of helping local charitable organisations through art. Art4Charity does approach charities, but more often charities approach Evanga. Evanga can work with you and help you organise your event as well as provide tips and ideas.

Evanga can work with you in many ways:

If the project allows Evanga to extend its work or provides the opportunity for Evanga to create new pieces of work which would not otherwise be possible, Evanga can create the work for free and charge a small amount for materials. This was the case for ‘A Better Life’ where giant birds were created to decorate their ball room.

Evanga can donate artwork for charitable auctions. Evanga donated a painting priced at £120 to ‘The League of Friends for Winchester Hospitals’ for auction and it received £250!

Evanga can work with a charity to set up an art exhibition. In 2008 it set up an exhibition at the Slug and Lettuce Bar for Hampshire Deaf Association. 30% from each work sold went to the charity. The venue also put on a special dessert with £1 from each one sold going to charity. They even provided the advertising. It’s a win win for all parties involved. Everyone gets exposure and the charity gets some money! Evanga and the charity worked together to agree on their roles. For example Evanga organised the venue and the charity organised the drinks.

If you want to involve Evanga in your next fundraising event or work with Evanga to create one, please contact Donna Vokes at donnavokes@hotmail.com who will be very pleased to hear from you.
